We have recently renewed our accreditation from the Australian Breastfeeding Association as a Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace. This accreditation is really important to our organisations family friendly ethos and our commitment to supporting working mothers and the health and well-being of their babies.
The accreditation acknowledges our compliance with the key elements of support required, including:
- a private, comfortable space to breastfeed or express breast milk;
- time during the working day to breastfeed or express; and
- support from employer and colleagues.
We are proud of this accreditation and look forward to continuing to support our breastfeeding staff members to maintain breastfeeding while at work.
