We are pleased to announce that Tish Mercieca was elected as the new President of the Canberra Mothercraft Society at the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 19th November 2025.
Tish succeeds Gia Metherell, following her 4-year term as President. The Canberra Mothercraft Society acknowledges Gia’s hard-work and leadership, particularly in forging strong relationships with our partners, both new and old.
Tish comes to the role of President with a strong background in social work and community services, working with vulnerable children. Canberra Mothercraft Society looks forward to supporting Tish in this leadership role.
We are also pleased to announce that Liz Pedley will step in the role of Vice-President, supporting Tish.
